Summary
War is always critical for every country. A lot of destruction has happened as well as the life of innocent people is also suffered. The same goes with the Russia and Ukraine war, a lot of people lost their lives in this conflict and their houses or property is also destroyed. The impact of the war causes fear in the people of the country as well as in other countries. It is because the higher power of the country relation also comes in the war. Some support Russia and some is supporting Ukraine. According to the report of NATO officials, they stated that up to 40.000 Russian military troops were either killed or injured in this war. Along with that some of them are captured by Ukraine. These same things happen in Ukraine. According to the datasets of the Kaggle is determined that the loss is not only a life of the people or military person but also a lot of war equipment are also lost. It results that war is not the better option to solve the conflict between any country. In the war only, innocent people are suffered. Along with that the refugees who go there for study or job purposes are suffered and lost their lives in the war.
The Problem of the war is that at the end of the war nothing is happening to the person who is sitting on the higher power but the innocent people suffered most. They lost houses and family members during the war. The military also suffered from the war in which they lost most of their soldiers as well as equipment that they invested a lot of money in that. They might get destroyed. This is the main problem faced during the war.
Aim
To identify the losses that occurred during the Russia and Ukraine war and analysis the military & civilian contributions to the War.
Objective
To determine the affected areas during the war.
To evaluate the losses occurs during the war.
To analysis the equipment lost during the war.
To find out the technology used for gathering the information about the conflict between the country.
Research Questions
What was the cause of war between Russia and Ukraine?
What is the significance of the war?
Who is the most affected during the fight between both country?
How many losses occurred during the conflict?
Methodology
The research methodology is used to provide the proper detail about the dataset to the researcher for completing the project properly. It defines the plan of the researcher in which the research is conducted. The methodology used in this proposal is quantitative. It collects the datasets from Kaggle. All the datasets define the detail of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Along with that, the data sets determine the losses of civilian & military lives and equipment lost or destroyed during the war.
Data Collection Techniques
The collection of data is a research methodology approach that helps researcher to collect the data. The data which is gathered from the research helps to provide information about the project that needs to do. There are two types of techniques available in data collection, the first is primary and another is secondary. The primary collect data from conducting interviews as well as surveys. Whereas the secondary collects the data from the existing research is conducted by the researcher or any other persons. It includes the journals, articles, newspapers, and datasets available for the research. The proposal includes the secondary approach for conducting the whole research. after taking the secondary approach the researcher collects the relatable data for the articles.
Methods
In this proposal, the researcher used the Agile method for collecting the data. The collection of datasets is very important for conducting the research. It defines the accurate possibilities of the research. The agile method is used because it is an iterative or step-by-step approach to doing any task. It focused on every step and ensure that not any other step will suffer because of the problem that occurred in that step.
Justification of Agile Method
It is used because agile is fast as well as reliable for long-term research. It is done every task in a step-by-step process. Agile is focused on the satisfaction of the customer with provide the correct detail of the data or research in an easy and fast way. In this process, the requirement plan is made which needed to be fulfilled in the whole project or data collection strategies. It tested every possibility in the task that is being performed to check or identified the issues that occurred on the project.
Background Information
It describes the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. And How war changes all the things in the country. The losses of military troops and citizens are a lot. The war changes everything in both the country.
According to Perepelytsia, 2021, it describes that Russia is utilizing hybrid warfare. In this, they not only send military troops and air forces for the war but also use cyber warfare against Ukraine's crucial infrastructure. In this cyberwar, the Ukrainian websites are under attack on a small scale for the past few months before the start of the war. The Russian already maintain their mind if things are not under their control. They started war with Ukraine. They continuously launch a series of cyberattacks on the key websites of Ukraine. (Muradov, 2019) Hybrid warfare is first imposed by Frank Hoffman in 2007. It incorporates a different range of modes of warfare, including irregular tactics, typical capabilities, terrorist acts, etc. this kind of action can be performed by a single person. Along with that, the hybrid peace can be considered as state of intangible war (Perepelytsia, 2021). Where the countries peoples did not understand that war physically and they continue living their life peacefully. The hybrid war mostly occurred on social media sites. Where the cyberattacks are happened on the government website to collect information about the activities they perform daily.
It is also determined that the study of hybrid warfare which is a military strategy model of war. As the new models of the economy are built on advance technologies and information required for gathering the personal data of the country (Karpachova, 2021). It claims a qualitative dominance over the military plan concept to attack other country. It takes every information about the country and what they planned for the war. Hybrid warfare trends in the formation of large inter-civilization alliance, and making hybrids the main subjects of inter-civilizational war. The main object of this war is to value the intangible dimension. The emergence of hybrid warfare leads the way to a change in conduct in general.
The nature of the war between Russia and Ukraine led to changes in formational structure of soldiers. It comes to introduce the special forces of each country, private armies, and the special equipment are used for the war. These kinds of special forces responded rapidly to the war which increased the readiness for the offensive actions.
Along with that the report also determines that the situation of war between these two countries has occurred most of the time. the conflict happened in Donbas with Russia. The war led the problems for the representative of the local population (Åtland, 2020). In this report, representatives visited the 59 settlements along with the line of military clashes. The dataset is also used to determine the losses that occurred during the war. It consists that the civilians who are living near the contact line of the war are also losing their family members. They also have to hardship every day to ongoing conflicts, which destroyed their social rights. It also defines that the people living near the affect line of war areas are considered outlying due to the conflicts near the road infrastructure, checkpoints, and insecurity continued in that areas. The report provides statically data, from the beginning of the conflicts till the end of the war. It stated that during the war at least 3.047 people, including men, women, and kids were died during the war. A lot of the equipment or personnel things of the people is lost. The dataset used from the Kaggle define that during this war both the country used armored personnel carrier, multiple rocket launcher is also used that destroyed the infrastructure of the country, aircraft is also used, anti-aircraft warfare, drone, fuel tank, naval ship, etc were used during this war (Belo, 2020).
All the war is also covered by the media (Nygren et. al., 2018). The war also defines the remunerative warfare strategies of Russia. The energy sector is the main tool for Russia to leverage on the global stage. Economic pressure plays the important role in a war to utilized it against the other states during conflict. It also determines that Russia has more power than Ukraine. That’s the reason Ukraine faced more issues than Russia. Along with that, Russia is also advanced in cyberattacks strategies they developed their cyber capabilities by providing useful tools to them. The cyber branch of Russia also utilized that tool sovereign and in tandem with operations of military. They used cyber operations during the war between the soviet time and take related or useful information about their plan of attacking (Nikolaienko, 2021). They can also resist any offensive operations done with them. In the Ukraine war, they send the attack messages as warning shots. So that they can surrender themselves and save their people’s lives. The war affects most of the people the main reason for this happening because that NATO step back they’re from the support they are showing to Ukraine. Russia did not want that any other country will come near their border. So, for that reason, they started war that destroyed the world. Because of this war, the stock market is also falling, import and export business is shut down in both the country. Along with that most of the country is not supporting or sending their resources to both countries (Haynie, 2022).
Data Presentation and Analysis
The data analysis techniques are used to clean or transform the raw data which is collected during the data collection techniques. The data which is available for the research is collected from the articles as well as from journals. it also used the datasets from Kaggle. The analysis process is then done on the available data in which necessary data is used or duplicated as well as data that is not required for the research is removed in this process. These techniques are used to get the appropriate data for the research of lives losses during the war between Russia and Ukraine. The techniques are used by the researcher in the analysis process to collect the data in grounded theory. Along with that, it defines the losses that occurred during the war in both the country. The relationship with other countries is also suffered and some of the countries are backsteps. Along with that, the stock market is also suffered from the war. It also consists that the import and export business is not shipping the products worldwide resulting in the increment of the prices in some of the country. The war also destroys the infrastructure of the country. Many of the supplies is not available during the war, most people lost their lives because of the lack of health care supplies available in the war country (McKee and Murphy, 2022).
The analysis provides a better outcome for the researcher to research in the proposal and elaborate on all the problems and collection of the datasets is required to analyze the research.
