REFLECTION ESSAY

INTRODUCTION

This essay will discuss the skills learnt while studying the study skills module while writing the assignment 1 comparison of two different articles. It will be in the form of a reflective essay. The various skills I learned from writing the comparison of two essays will be highlighted in this reflective essay.

MAIN BODY

Reading and analysing the various articles require good observation and critical thinking skills. So when I was writing the comparison of two articles named Undergraduates' perception and engagement in Facebook learning groups by Hong and Gardner (2019) and Article 2 named Facebook usage, socialization and academic performance by Ainin et al., (2015), I observed that analysing any article is the most efficient methodology which enhanced my analytical skills and the writing skills and as a result, I gathered various kinds of experience of learning. This learning skills module has proven to be very helpful in improving my knowledge in terms of comparing items. Reading this module also broadens my analytical perspective for analyzing any situation. These skills certainly help me find the right job. It turns out that academic knowledge alone is not enough to find the right job. Analytical people are confident that they can do a better job than others (Hailikari et al., 2021). After studying, it's easy to say that you've learned to do comparative analysis in any situation. However, although I have found academic citations to find the perfect job, an analytical perspective is very helpful in my career outlook. By the end of this module, I was very confident about the progress of my analysis on any theme. However, I believe that individuals can analyse any difficult situation after completing this training module (Iordanou et al., 2019).

This learning module also helped me in enhancing my knowledge related to academics which as a result assisted me in improving the outcomes of my educational academic skills. In the long run purpose, this module helped me in enhancing my writing skills, which will be helpful for me in the future corporate world. Before starting this module of research and study skills, I was not good at communication skills; however after spending time in writing a comparison between two articles I realised my abilities of communication has improved to a huge extent (Wyness and Dalton, 2018). This also increased my level of confidence while communicating with others. People learn from their experience, and university research is experiential learning for self-development. As the rating score improved over time, it is correct to say that I was able to learn and improve myself from my experience in higher education. I listened to feedback about my work and made the necessary corrections to my work. I was able to improve my skills in the Harvard Handbook. In Term 1, I found that the bibliography was very confusing and made a lot of mistakes when referencing. However, with the help of the Weblearn Reference Guide, I was able to understand in detail the Harvard reference required by this institution is now easy to reference. Before taking this module, I did not understand what academic writing is and how to critique it correctly. Studying this module has enabled me to criticize academically without judging. I can reasonably investigate an idea or statement presented to me. The above has been helpful for my module learning and I see myself improving in higher education through the skills I have learned (Wyness and Dalton, 2018).

Erudition the learning skills will not only assist me in college but will also help me achieve something in life. Superior learning skills have augmented my self-confidence, capability, and self-esteem. It also condensed my nervousness about exams and deadlines. By developing effective learning skills, you can spend less time studying and more time doing other things in life. Good study habits can improve your ability to learn and keep information. Students who use effective learning skills may experience that their work and efforts are additionally valuable. A large amount college students have to combine multiple deadlines for assessed work and have class preparation and test iterations. Developing planning and time management skills can be helpful. Sitting down and counting how much time an individual can study independently will help you plan your week's study (Iordanou et al., 2019).

The major skills I learned from this module is concentration and memory, critical analysis and the understanding of concepts, college-level writing, anxiety and stress management and understanding learning styles. Rewarding materials and inclusive examination are at the core of the university's prospectus and achievement measurements, so winning students need to develop a habit of encouraging concentration and intentional memorisation. As a student, I work not only to expand my information base but also to expand the scope and texture of human understanding in our world (Hailikari et al., 2021). Learning to write at the college level turns out to be a difficult task, even for the best students. By learning how to be a better writer, I can captivate an important step towards a successful educational career. The inscription skills you study while studying get ready me for a successful transition to work life. Well-written products, on the other hand, help convey my academic achievement and creative thinking to my peers and mentors. This communication skill earns the respect of students and allows them to participate in intellectual dialogues of interest. On the other hand, the process of developing a well-written product helps to make stronger the skills of conceptual understanding and critical analysis. Not only is college great, but it can also be a very demanding time in a student's life (Cottrell, 2020).
