Introduction

This formative essay is intended at reflecting my personal learning based on the topics that have been taught in the module. I am using Gibb’s reflective cycle for reflecting on learning.

Discussion

I was feeling very excited about the learning of the module since it was based on international marketing which comes under my area of interest. Going through the taught session of different weeks has helped me in enhancing my existing knowledge relating to different aspects of international business (Adeani et al., 2020). The module started with the introduction of international marketing. The module has helped me in learning about the various strategies that can be used while entering the international markets such as direct exporting and indirect exporting (Doole and Lowe, 2016). The module has also helped me in enhancing my learning relating to the international service and product management. This week has taught me that managing the products across border is not an easy task and complete market and product analysis is required for doing so.

The module has covered all the major aspects which are essential for managing the international business and I got the opportunity to get idea about the digital marketing aspects that can be used for successfully implementing marketing on global level. Internet marketing and social media marketing are most important aspects for succeeding in global marketing (Williams et al., 2020). I have learnt that understanding the consumer behaviour across cultures is also important since it helps in getting idea about the needs of the consumers and the trends that can affect their buying behaviour (Doole and Lowe, 2016). Thus it can be said that my learning relating to international business and marketing has enhanced by going through this module.


Conclusion

The module was majorly based on international business aspects and it helped me in enhancing my aligned knowledge mad learning.
