Introduction

Ethical management is related to the responsibility that is part of a company that is implemented by everyone in it to ethical practices (Nuseir and Ghandour, 2019). These are mainly the outlining of the ethical laws that are put forward by the government. Business ethics help organisations in enhancing their acceptable behaviour by them which are beyond the control of the government (Becker, 2018).The following essay is going to discuss ethical management and identify the unethical organisational culture. It will also discuss how integrity and compliance can be maintained. Through the reflective approach, it will identify some of my personal experiences to justify the discussion.

Discussion

Ethical leadership is referred to leaders that demonstrate appropriate conduct that is recognised by the values and principles (Zaimand Budur, 2021). The leadership do not just limit itself in the organisation but also goes beyond and acts in the external environment of the business. Through appropriate words and action, ethical leadership is demonstrating the strong principles of the organisation and pointing out the wrong behaviours. I think in an unethical organisational culture ethical leadership is crucial as it helps the business is growing. The main importance of leadership is that it helps the business in obtaining a higher brand image. This can be obtained by the business through better and more appropriate practice.

The practice might involve them in treating the consumer properly and employees as well. In this digital era and the awareness of the people regarding ethical practice has made it important for the company in maintaining ethical practices. Ethical leadership helps a company in improving staff morale. Due to the increase in the brand image, employees of an organisation can take pride in their employer and enhance their motivation. A good brand image also helps companies in recruiting skilled employees easily as everyone will want to work with them (Qinget al., 2020). Ethical leadership management in my opinion helps an organisation in building a better organisational culture. This also helps the organisation in gaining consumer that stays loyal to the brand. Businesses that can demonstrate ethical choices and decisions can benefit the higher clientele.

Professional integrity refers to the appropriate ethical behaviour that is to be maintained in an organisation (Indeed, 2020). It can be considered as the practice of showing adherence to morality and righteous principles. An organisation needs to maintain professional integrity as it has more gain for them. Integrity is to be maintained in the organisational integrity as it helps the employed in job satisfaction and builds a good reputation for the firm. They get access the clear focus and concentrate on what is more important. Operating with integrity helps an organisation in raising sales in the market. To maintain integrity and complaints in the organisation the leader needs to treat everyone the same. They must not indulge in any discriminatory performance against the employee. This will also require the leader to admit the misdoing that might help in promoting integrity. In a business environment, it is also important for one to encourage the team. Effective communication in the team is needed to encourage integrity among them (Indeed, 2020). As a whole, a business needs to show highly their principle as it helps deliver the message to its partners and employees about integrity. A business will also need to consider the consumer as a friend as this will encourage the employee in providing value and offer high-quality services.

Teams when are given a creative and fresh approach and shown that they are important and are being heard tend to be more productive. It is also important that the commitments are being kept towards delivering the promises. According to Crespin and Muldoon(2019), in this modern era, the employer looks for integrity as a personal skill of an employee. It is considered an important skill to have. It is seen that the lack of integrity in the organisation might result in falsified information and loss of trust. This might also create several conflicts among the member of the teams. The Business Journal (2022) reported that lack of integrity resulting blackmail and might result in dire consequences.

As per my experience in the university, I have learned that integrity is supposed to be maintained by everyone as it helps the individual in being more ethical. Integrity is help in building strong relationships. I have learned that making communication stronger can bring integrity effective within a group. Integrity helps in being a reliable person. I have managed to learn about integrity through the team working activities and the assignment that I was assigned. I have experienced that integrity benefits a team and makes it more coordinating and effective in gaining its goals. I was able to learn about integrity through my classes at the university about academic ethical practices. Through writing of assessments that requires me to avoid any plagiarism and copying from others was helpful in enhancing my sense of integrity.

Conclusion

From the above, it can be considered that ethical leadership is a crucial part of an organisation. This is because the company’s name and brand value highly rely on the ethical practice of the company. It was understood in the above essay company in this era need to be more aware of the ethical practice that is acceptable to the people. Due to this, the government in the countries have established certain ethical guidelines that are to be followed by companies. This essay provided certain measures to maintain workplace integrity by reflecting on the experiences. The essay has suggested certain ways that help implement integrity in the business environment. This might include having effective communication encouraging the same.
