The strategies that can be implemented for overcoming the resistance is –

  1. In the selection process, others must be involved- this will help the organization in avoiding any kind of resistance. more involvement of the employees will make them feel more connected and ownership in the process of selection. This will help in avoiding any kind of resistance or less resistance in the future.

  2. Avoid keeping employees in dark – by properly communicating with the employees about the ERP system selection process & making certain that they understand the new ERP will help in benefiting the business as well as themselves hiking their positions. Employees won’t ignore such changes that will benefit them as well.

  3. Ensuring proper training time for the employees- giving proper time to the employees is important for an effortless transition from current EPR to new EPR. This will help the employees enough time to know the issues they are facing and understand all the employees in the workplace are not at an equal pace. With the help of multiple sessions of training, they will be in equal positions. Ensuring that everyone will have equal time according to their needs without any rush will help them focus solely on their training.

  4. Do not rush – giving the required time for processing the new changes is necessary. The employees who think they know about the new ERP system may cause an issue in the starting days, therefore, all the employees must be aware of the training stage and ensure that they need training and assistance for being successful.

Management expectations can be defined as the degree that believes that the managements need the employees for using the system accurately. The expectations of the management from everyone are to use the latest technology & to behave themselves consistently in the latest work processes. It is needed that the management effectively conveys their expectations to the employees for measuring the progress in the order to meet those expectations & give feedback to the end-users related to their use of latest technology systems & work process. The main factors for IT acceptance & usage of the latest information systems are –

  1. Facilitating conditions to the employees

  2. Conveying management expectations

  3. Ease the usage of the management

  4. Explain the usefulness of the management expectations.

By getting proper feedback from the employees will also help in making any necessary changes in the management according to the conveyance of the employees.

The benefits of the new ERP system -

  • The basic benefit of implementing the new ERP system includes the improved accessibility to the quality data for decision-making in the operations, improving the processes of work, eliminating the inflexible & costly legacy systems.

  • Another benefit of the new ERP system is it provides an opportunity for upgrading & standardizing the technology along with the simplifying consolidation of data related to finance in the workplace.

  • By implementing a new ERP system, it makes sure that the work processes are built on the best practices of the industry. The adoption of new ERP systems will help the organization in enabling avoiding dozens of various systems & swap them with one integrated application set for the whole workplace.

  • By standardizing the fewer technologies & vendors reducing the ongoing support & maintenance as well as a load of training for all those employees who need to assist the infrastructure of the workplace.

  • The implementation of new EPR software is although a high investment but it helps in unifying the IT cost & improve efficiency.

  • Another benefit if the EPR can be the largest selling point in the context of software. This will allow the organization in accessing the important process as it helps in accessing the data making from all the departments easily along with the involvement of senior management.

  • A new ERP system will also help in improving the planning & reporting in all the departments through a unified system of reporting in all the processes.

According to my, the implementation of the PLM system will be a good idea as it carries many benefits PLM software will help in managing the processes & data which is associated with different stages of the life cycle of the product. This includes all the marketing & sales, research & development, product design, concept development product & delivery installation, product retirement & replacement, support & service. I would also add that the PLM software gives support to the main functions of document management, release management, configuration management, engineering change management, and original equipment manufacturers along with suppliers’ collaboration. I would also ensure that implementing the PLM software in the workplace will also help in reducing risks, increasing the productivity of the organization, increasing revenue, data sharing. PLM software in my belief will also help in planning, designing, sharing innovations in the workplace with effective quality assurance.





Question – 3

A. Ethical behavior in the workplace can be defined as the code of moral which guide the behavior of the workers in the workplace. They must understand what is wrong and what is right following the decision-making and conducting decisions. Ethical behavior is not applicable to only an individual employee instead whole organization must exemplify the ethical conduct standards. Some of the examples of ethical behaviour in organization are obeying the rules of the company, taking responsibility, having effective communication.

B. Legal Behaviour in the organization includes the law dictates, that are written & interpreted according to the court. In the determination, decision-making considering the legality of the action course is facilitated through the existence of the regulations, codes & statutes. Legal behaviour includes the adhering of law, duty of the care & regulations that are governed by the practice. For example- in the organization, each employee must follow the rules authorised by the court to implementing

C. Some of the measures that can be implemented for the client data safety are –

  • Using smart password strategies for protecting the data

  • Enabling the antivirus and firewalls in the organization

  • Staying in the top of all the updates regarding safety

  • Limiting the access of the data is sensitive therefore, not everyone in the organization needs the access to the client data, it must be limited to some of the limited higher-authority persons only. They must only have the access to that data at times of necessity.

D. Breaking promises is considered to be legal but it is widely considered to be unethical, another example of unethical but legal is Cheating on wife or husband or girlfriend or boyfriend is highly considered to be unethical but it is legal. Another example can be lying to the friends. It is unethical decision but is completely legal.

Behaviours that are considered to be illegal but are considered to be ethical. Some of the examples are mixing food & paper waste, cheating taxes, jaywalking, spitting inside the city & driving above the speed limit. Although business can operate in wide regulation ranges but aiming at ethical standards enforcing the subjective ethics nature meaning the complete legal business practices these can come under the scrutiny as an unethical behaviour.



Question – 4

A. According to me, my suggestion to the CFO will be including the cost of the contingency for the estimation of the unforeseen costs and take care of the cost by estimating two member’s cost and schedule estimates. They can use the scheduling in the project management by clearly listing the milestones, deliverables in the project. They can utilize the RFID scanning equipment that can be mounted from the forkflift trucks, the estimation of the budget will be in accordance to the project budget in the meeting with all the project members. As I will be o the call, I will add all the other members in conference for further better discussion of the estimation of the budget. I will be ensuring that the decided needs of the project are according to the feasibility and flexibility of the project members according to their working hours and free hours. For better estimation of the project, I will consider including the cost of all the resources, including physical products & fuel for all the equipment. I will try to explain the CFO about the information of the project that there will be no delay in the project completion

B. For considering the creation of the risk management plan for the project, I will ask all the members to be patient with one another and try to het the acceptance of the concept of the risk management as a process if minimizing various impacts of issues that can be created in the organization. I would also suggest that with proper planning of the risk management the organization can completely eliminate the potential issues with some backplans that can be developed for eliminating them. I would also consider all the previous issues that were created in the organization and try to consider them this time to eliminate those issues and contain a proper risk assessment matrix. I will also foresee all the impacts that are estimated considering risks, I will begin with risk identification, planning properly for newly risk identification, by monitoring the contingency plans, trigger conditions, risk reporting on daily basis. I will also try to ensure that I analyse whole risk and evaluate the risking rank by training the risk potentially. I will review and monitor properly the basics of the risk management processes remain the same. The major risks that are non-financial risks, speculative and pure risks and particular and fundamental risks.
