Remember to ensure your clients’ and co-workers’ privacy and confidentiality at all times. Do not include their real names in your submissions. Use fictitious names instead. Example: If your client’s real name is Jack Smith then replace his name with William Jones or any other fictitious name.

To provide proper medication healthcare assistant monitored health progress and during the administration process, one needle slipped and entered the skin. The needle was contaminated because it was not disposed of after its use.

To prevent the spread of infection it was made sure to immediately clean the infected area. All important and relevant information was communicated to the management team and patient. To dispose of all contaminated equipment hospitably safety waste management protocols were followed.

Risk management strategies implemented:

Waste disposal policies and process was reviewed to ensure proper disposal of waste. To spread awareness and educate all team meetings were scheduled where infection control procedures and steps were communicated to the staff members.

As I need to work with several patients who have diverse needs and behaviors my stress level also fluctuates accordingly. I make sure to practice deep breathing techniques that will help me develop patience and handle patients with diverse behaviors.



I experience fatigue daily as I work on providing quality care to patients and helping them meet their emotional needs and requirements. To cater to the diverse needs of patients I need to move to different places which results in fatigue.
