Small Business Enterprise learners the opportunity to focus on the processes involved, through change management, of reviewing and improving the performance of a small business enterprise. In order to meet the achievement criteria for the unit, the following tasks must be completed according to the guideline provided.
You must choose a Small Business Enterprise for this assignment. You are the business owner of this chosen Small Business Enterprise. Your business is ready for expansion. You are going to review and improve the performance of your business focusing on processes involved and using change management principles to plan the growth of your business. Task I Produce a report on the following assessment criteria:
AC 1.1 Produce a profile of a selected small business identifying its strengths and Weaknesses. At least 4 strengths and 4 weaknesses must be presented.
AC 1.2 Carry out an analysis of the business using comparative measures of performance. The analysis must be carried out using both qualitative and quantitative measures of performance.
AC 2.1 Recommend with justification, appropriate actions to overcome the identified weaknesses identified in AC 1.1.
AC 2.2 Analyse ways in which existing performance based on strengths identified in AC 1.1 could be maintained and strengthened.
AC 2.3 Recommend with justification, new areas in which the business could be expanded.
AC 3.1 Produce an assessment of existing business objectives and plans in light of current performance.
AC 3.2 Revise business plans to incorporate appropriate changes based on the assessment.
AC 3.1. Propose changes to business objectives and plans.
AC 3.3 Prepare an action plan to implement the changes. Action plan must be produced in the form of a template that your company can progressively use.
AC 4.1 Report on the impact of the proposed changes on the business and its personnel
AC 4.2 Plan how the changes will be managed in the business
AC 4.3 Monitor improvements iii the performance of the business over a given timescale.
